About MRC


The Cal Poly Pomona Market Research Club (MRC) is a not-for-profit student organization committed to furthering the skills and abilities of students interested in becoming marketing research professionals.

Some activities of the MRC include:

  • Hosting guest speakers from the industry
  • Competing in national and local market research competitions
  • Hosting market research workshops
  • Providing professional service to less-funded local small businesses and not-for-profit organizations

Together, these activities give MRC members an opportunity to network, build leadership and teamwork skills, and experience a learn-by-doing practical approach to market research.  Involvement in the MRC helps prepare students for a future in market research and improves their ability to generate customer insight, shape marketing decisions, steer corporations towards the cutting edge of trends, and ethically guide and mentor future leaders to come.
